Company celebrates result of 2 million hours worked without accidents

Propav’s top management celebrated the milestone of 2 million hours without lost-time accidents in the works of the Presidente Getúlio Vargas Refinery (Repar). The routine maintenance contract, tank maintenance, and scheduled shutdowns have a team of 330 professionals who received recognition from Propav’s board of directors.

CEO Flávio Pimentel, Chief Operating Officer Ricardo Vendruscolo, and Corporate Manager for Quality, Safety, Environment, Health and Social Responsibility (QSMSRS) Gerson Ponciano attended the refinery’s facilities to congratulate their employees on January 29th.

On this occasion, Pimentel reinforced the company’s commitment to preserve the physical integrity of its employees and to provide a safe and healthy work environment. He also pointed out that Propav is a company based on ethical principles, which complies with legal requirements, procedures, and the Code of Ethics.

The operational director Ricardo Vendruscolo praised the reparation of the Repar team in this achievement and emphasized that everyone must continually seek improvements in safety, environment, health, and social responsibility actions.

QSMSRS manager Gerson Ponciano spoke about the importance of everyone’s commitment to safety. “For achievements like this, the commitment of the leadership and the engagement of employees are essential, with the safety actions implemented by the company such as the ProVida program”, he emphasized.

Flávio Pimentel pointed out that ProVida is a permanent corporate program, aligned with the QSMSRS and Compliance policies, to guarantee the integrity, safety, and health of employees.
